You may know now that the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is being launched on the 5th August, only 4 days from now. To further dampen the sparkle of the device’s launch event, there have been more leaked renders of the smartwatch. The leaked images include those of both the Watch Active 2 and the Under Armour edition.
For the original Galaxy Watch Active 2, we can finally see another colour variant other than the rose-gold and black. The colour is a nice pastel blue rather than the dark turquoise that was offered with the Galaxy Watch Active. In my opinion, I prefer the turquoise rather than the pastel blue.
Something that only a keen eye can see is that the renders do not have the red ring around the power button. When the leaked images of the Galaxy watch Active 2 were released in late-June, it had the red ring. This further suggesting that the smartwatch will not have the ECG feature at the time of its release.
With the Under Armour edition, we can see that the band of the smartwatch will be released in grey or black. So far, no other colours have been mentioned. The wrist strap will have the Under Armour logo engraved onto it. The watch will have a special theme that’ll feature the brand. As well as the pretty design of the watch, it should have MapMyRun pre-installed onto the device. When you buy the Galaxy Watch Active 2 (UA edition) you will get six months of free access to the MapMyRun service. After the six months, I’m afraid your pocket may have to keep you running (pun intended).
