Twitter priced its initial public offering at $26 a share. The company begins trading on the New York Stock Exchange tomorrow. The company announced the news via tweet (below).
Pricing was the last step in Twitter’s long road to going public. All eyes will be on the company to see if it will perform better than Facebook’s first months of trading. The rival social network tanked soon after its stock market debut and took over a year to recover.

Twitter is offering up 70 million shares and will trade under the symbol $TWTR.
The company originally set a more conservative share price of between $17 and $20 per share, which Twitter later raised to a range of $23 to $25.
