Top 20 Most Downloaded Tizen Apps for September 2016

The Tizen Store has been a beehive of activities of late since Samsung introduced the Z2 in new markets. The App store has seen a lot of new apps being developed and not just that, these are top rated app considering the rave performance they pull on the store. That Tizen apps archives are getting larger by the day is reflected in the diversity of apps / games that make up the top 20 most downloaded apps on the Tizen Store by Samsung Z1, Z2 and Z3 smartphone owners each month. The month of September was also no exception, as some new apps and games have made it into the top 20 most downloaded app chart.
Whatsapp Messenger continues its occupation of the topmost position as the most downloaded app on the Tizen Store, something it has been doing for a while now right ever since the native version which doesn’t rely on ACL was added on the Tizen Store. SHAREit made it up back to the second position, this time displacing Media player app MX Player to the third position after it moved up to the second position in August.
A new entrant Talking running Casper Cat 3D made it up to the fourth position as one of the most downloaded apps on Tizen-powered devices. Other new entrants include Sniper Ops 3D Kill Terror Shooter which featured at number 7 and is closely followed in the number 8 by another game – Xtreme Hover on the popularity charts for October. Candy Camp Story is another new entrant onto the charts which is gaining some popularity, coming in at number 14. Three new apps Instatag, Monograph and Here map also entered the top 20 charts for the first time.
The Tizen Store still has the must-have apps like Facebook Messenger and Facebook, as well as those requested by users such as UC Browser for Tizen, Opera Mini Browser, and MX Player. The Top 20 most downloaded apps / games chart is expected to get some surge and perhaps see some more apps and games getting on board since the Samsung Z2 has joined in on the fray, and Tizen devices are reaching on to more diverse audience whose taste in apps and games differ.
