Yesterday we reported on details about the Samsung SEK3500U UHD 2015 One Connect Evolution Kit, and today we see it is available to pre-order directly from Samsung for the US market.
The evolution kit can be had pre-order for $399.99 (free shipping) and an expected shipping date of between 10-14 days. Consumers will now be able to update their Samsung 2013 (F9000 series) and 2014 (HU series) TVs to the latest Tizen Operating System.
The new update will include the new HEVC and VP9 codecs that will give you improved picture quality with 4K video @ 60p. The box will retail for 399 euros and consists of the new One-Connect box and the new Smart Control remote TM1560A.
