The Tizen Software Development Kit (SDK) has received another update to take it to version 2.4 Rev6. This update features improvements to the CLI / SDB and also a whole load of bug fixes to improve performance and stability.
This is a comprehensive set of tools for developing Tizen native and Web applications, consisting of an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Emulator, toolchain, sample code, and documentation. The supported platforms are Windows / Ubuntu and also Mac OS X. Tizen applications can be developed without relying on an official Tizen IDE, as long as the application complies with the Tizen packaging rules.

Note
- Since the Tizen 2.4 Rev3 SDK, the Tizen SDK supports developing applications on multi-platform environments for 2.4-, 2.3.1-, and 2.3-based applications.
- Since the Tizen 2.4 Rev1 SDK, the SDK image installation is not supported. Use the Tizen Update Manager for installation.
