Tizen at Mobile World Congress 2015
We are now in the final stages of preparation for Mobile World Congress next week, taking place at Fira Gran Via Barcelona, Spain 2-5 March 2015. We expect many things from the show, Including the first showing of the Samsung Z1 Smartphone outside of India and Bangladesh, Tizen TV, and also Tizen Smart Cameras.

The Tizen Association will also have a Booth and will be showcasing a strong line-up of Tizen devices and Tizen Partners at Booth #8.1, located in Hall H65, so make sure you get there and get up to speed with what Tizen is and how it can benefit you and your company.

- Fleksy – Demoing the much awaited Fleksy keyboard running on the Samsung Gear S
- HERE – HERE Maps navigation app on the Gear S
- Intel – Discussing interoperability of IoT devices: Sensors, fan/LED, BLE device, home gateway + Tizen control/monitor device
- Marmalade – Showing off their game development SDK for Tizen Developers
- News Republic – News app on the Gear S
- RealVNC – Demoing their VNC Automotive, smartphone integration, embedded connectivity solution
- Samsung – Smart home with the Smart Things platform
- Symphony Teleca – Demoing “FBQuickView for Facebook” a Tizen/Gear Smartwatch App for instantly accessing your Facebook account and notifications
- Vicomtech – Demoing Driver Drowsiness Detection & Advanced Driver Assistance System on Tizen IVI
- Zenrin – 3D navigation running on Tizen IVI
Samsung
The big Tizen news from Samsung is the expected unveil of their next Samsung Tizen Smartwatch, codenamed Orbis SM-R720, which should be on display at both the Tizen Association and Samsung booths. This is the first Samsung Smartwatch to support a round face, roatating bezel and wireless charging. Samsung will be showcasing the Samsung Z1, NX1 & NX300M Smart Camera, at the Tizen Association Booth #8.1, located in Hall H65. We hope that they do have a demo of their Tizen TV, but that might be at the Samsung stand at MWC.
