The Tizen Association today announced an additional 37 new partners that will be joining the Tizen Partner Program, which was initially launched at the Tizen Developer Summit in Korea, November 2013, and now stands at a total of 88 partners. Collectively they will bring their expertise together for the development of the Tizen Operating System (OS). Many of the new partners will also be exhibiting and presenting sessions at the Tizen Developer Conference, that is taking place next week in San Francisco, CA.
“The five-track, 60-session event will cover a wide array of topics including developing on Tizen for wearables, the Internet of Things, consumer electronics, automotive, and general app and platform development”
“The Tizen Association continues to attract interest and support from some of the most innovative players in the connected device ecosystem,” said Ryoichi Sugimura, a Tizen Association Board Member from NTT DOCOMO. “Especially on the app developer side, the enthusiasm we’re seeing from companies that want to help build and shape the Tizen OS and contribute to its success is extremely encouraging.”
