We are finally heading towards the airlock that will release us into the world of Starfield’s first major DLC update, Shattered Space. In many ways, it doesn’t seem like it has been a year since Starfied first came out as Bethesda has been busy constantly improving the game and adding new stuff, but now it is finally time for the devs to push forward the original vision with Shattered Space, an expansion that will focus in one one of the mysterious parts of the original game, the slightly creepy House Va’Runn.
The expansion is going to whizz us off to a new planet and setting and keep things a bit more focused than base Starfield, which has us zipping around the star system.
Bethesda has stated that the planet Va’runn’kai (there are too many apostrophes in that to keep me comfortable) is the sole focus of the expansion, so there will be no new planet hopping this time out.
It will be interesting to see how that changes the experience overall when the expansion arrives in a couple of days time.
