Sports betting provider Betby launches custom-made Counter Strike 2 league for CSGOEmpire

Betby, the sports betting solutions provider, has launched a new, custom-made Counter Strike 2 league for CSGOEmpire that “fully replicates the lifecycle of a CS2 match”, following the standard best of three format with overtime and a maximum of 24 rounds,

According to a report, the league will house some of the best teams from the HLTV ranking and is part of the Betby deal with the parent company of CSGOEmpire, Monorail, a company that was banned in Sweden for operating without a licence in 2023.

Head of sportsbook product at Betby, Kirill Nekrasov said, “We have meticulously designed this league to replicate the real dynamics of professional CS2 gameplay, ensuring that CSGOEmpire’s users enjoy an authentic and engaging experience that cannot be found anywhere else.”

A spokesperson for CSGOEmpire said the new league, “is a game-changer for us. This exclusive league not only strengthens our brand identity but also provides our community with a truly unique betting product they won’t find anywhere else.”

Back in last October, Betby originally announced its long-term deal with Moonrail to promote its flagship CSGOEmpire brand. At the time Luke M., Head of Sportsbook at CSGOEmpire, commented: “At CSGOEmpire, our primary focus has always been to deliver the fairest experience possible for our users, coupled with the best odds in the market. We are excited about our partnership with BETBY, which will enhance the quality of our offerings and significantly improve the user experience.

“This collaboration will provide our community with an expanded selection of betting options and a seamless interface, further solidifying CSGOEmpire as a leader in the online betting space. We remain committed to prioritizing our users’ needs and look forward to the innovations this partnership will bring.”
