Astropack is a game set in space. You are accompanying an astronaut who is travelling and exploring the infinite world with only a flimsy jetpack and his space suit. The jetpack is so flimsy that it only goes in a zigzag motion. So, you as the player need to master these movements in order to survive. The game has good, original graphics and addictive sound to keep you glued to your device. (I think that’s what the developers were aiming for). Astropack has been rated 3.7/5.0 in the Tizen Store, which is quite good.
How to Play
But as well as mastering the zigzags, you need to avoid obstacles such as astroids and shooting stars and do well to collect coins, the coins are like tokens- one coin per turn. If you run out of coins to use, then you can watch an advert to get a certain amount of coins in return. To go a long way left or right in the zigzag, you need to hold your tap and let go when you have reached your target. If you hit any of the four sides of the screen, you die! In the main menu- the game has two features which are coming soon. These are the online leaderboards and friend leaderboard, versus, gift and a chat.
Astopack is like the good Arcade games and rules, don’t underestimate space. In this game, you take control of an astronaut that will zigzag the astronaut to death, unless you learn to use the right to left to direct yourself like a BOSS! The developer, Nom Nom Games, Lda; have currently made no other games or apps but hopefully will release another one in the future.
