Samsung Z4 to be released in South Africa on June 23rd

Samsung Z4 comes to South Africa
We have previously reported that the Samsung Z4 will be coming to South Africa soon. Now, according to our sources, the official launch date of this device will be on June 23rd. Samsung Z4, which runs on Tizen 3.0, was officially launched on May 19th in India and it is currently been reported that this smartphone will soon penetrate the South African market. The device will reportedly be accessible through Vodacom South Africa for R1,299 (approx. $100). It might be offered in Gold and may come with a data bundle from the carrier. As of now, the carrier has already started selling small amounts of the Samsung Z4. The price and conditions of sales are not known.
The Z4 is a continuation of the Z series which unveiled the Z2 in September last year. The Samsung Z4 is particularly suited for users who desire a new smartphone that offers ease of use and is efficient on power. The device is the first Tizen phone which runs on the Tizen 3.0 operating system with its intuitive interface, offering a smoother and faster performance.

Hardware & Performance
The Samsung Z4 sports a 4.5-inch WVGA LCD display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM with 8GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD up to 128GB. The hardware of this device is expected to remain the same as the one announced as heading to TDC 2017 and later released in India.
 
Other Features
The Samsung Z4 packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with another 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The camera is compatible with Palm, Auto, Voice Selfie and Flip Video options. Photo perfection can be achieved with features such as Live Beauty Effects and Profile Templates. In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Z4 comes with dual-SIM support as well as 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack, among other features. Its 2,050mAh battery and the Ultra Power Saving feature of Tizen OS ensures adequate power for extended usage.
