Today, the Samsung Z2 smartphone has received a firmware/software update in India, taking it to version BQC1. The main point of Interest for this small 13.9MB update is that it brings the platform version to Tizen 2.4.0.7 and KNOX 1.1.0. The other two things that are listed are the stability of network connections has been improved and Daylight saving time has been updated. Full details below:-

The last time the Samsung Z2 got an update was back in the first week of February when it received update BQA4, which was also another small update that fixed a calendar problem. Many of our readers are hoping for a Tizen 3.0 update for the Z2 but there is no news on that at present.

- Select About Device
- Select Software Update
- Select Check for updates
