The Samsung Remote Test Lab (RTL) is a REAL test lab where developers can remotely access a Tizen device (wearable and Smartphone) in order to upload and test their Tizen Apps, opposed to running apps in a device emulator, which has its own limitations. Don’t worry about costs as this is a FREE service.
We have previously seen the Samsung Z1 and Samsung Gear S available for remote access and now it is the turn of the Samsung TM1 developer device, which was given to developers in India and China at the Tizen Developer Summit and Tizen Developer Conference 2015 respectively.
The TM1 is currently available on RTL servers located in Korea and Poland, with the possibility of devices going live on the US server. The RTL requires a Modern browser with JavaScript and a Java runtime environment (JRE v1.7 +).
