Many of our readers are now in posession of their shiny new Christmas gifts – Samsung wearables. So, If you’re new to the Tizen smartwatch ecosystem, here is a run down of your smartwatches and their user manuals ready for you to download in PDF format.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2
The Galaxy Watch Active2 is Samsung’s latest smartwatch as of now. The Samsung smartwatch brought a couple of new health features to the table. This includes an electrocardiogram (ECG) to detect irregularities within your heartbeat. For people who are more stylish, the smartwatch also brought a “My Style” feature which would match your watch face to your outfit. This feature came to the Galaxy Watch recently in a fairly large update.
There are two variants of the Galaxy Watch Active2: Bluetooth and 4G (or LTE if you prefer that saying).
Bluetooth
The Galaxy Watch Active2 utilises Bluetooth 5.0. This version of Bluetooth has a range of maximum 800 feet which is approximately 244 meters! I think it’s fair to say you can leave your phone in the other room for a bit without worrying about whether your smartwatch is connected or not.
4G/LTE
The 4G variant comes with an eSIM. So, you can take calls directly from the smartwatch rather than your smartwatch receiving the call and passing it onto the smartwatch. As well as this, you’ll be able to browse the internet and social media. All without being connected to your smartphone. A pretty cool feature in my opinion.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active Smartwatch
The Galaxy Watch Active hit the stores in March 2019 after being announced alongside the Galaxy S10. As well as this, this was the first smartwatch of Samsung’s to ditch the physical bezel on the Samsung smartwatch. On thing that users did not like was the fact the smartwatches battery did not last long.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Smartwatch
The Galaxy Watch also comes in two variants. 4G (LTE) and Bluetooth. As well as this, like I’ve stated above, the smartwatch got a fairly large update which gave it some of the features from the Galaxy Watch Active2. This includes improvement in Samsung Health and the My Style feature.

Samsung Gear Sport Smartwatch
The Gear Sport has various features that are fitness orientated. For example, it helps you track the amount of calories you have had so you can make sure your diet is going well. The watches water resistance doesn’t hurt either so you can go swimming without worrying.

The Gear S3 Smartwatch
The Gear S3 comes in two versions, the Frontier and the Classic. The Classic, as the name suggests, sports a more of an original watch design. On the other hand, the Frontier version has a more modern look to it.

The Gear S2 is a fairly old watch – it was released all the way back in 2015. The smartwatch has 3G and Bluetooth variants so you can choose whether you connect to your phone or straight to a cell tower.
