Mobile telecommunications giant Samsung, makes a new move at providing seamless mobile payment solutions to consumers in Brazil with its announcement of partnership with the Banco Bradesco Bank.
Following the announcement, Bradesco will become a part of Samsung Pay, a mobile payment solutions system. Thus current customers of Bradesco will be able to benefit from the services offered by Samsung.
The new partnership is an avenue for Samsung to expand the possibilities its mobile payment solutions system, Samsung Pay, will have on Brazilian consumers.
The innovative solution package was announced and launched in Brazil, with aims at delivering new and easy ways for Samsung and Bradesco customers to make transactions on their mobiles.
Samsung intends to achieve this through the use of NFC and MST technologies, MST of which is an exclusive proprietary tech of Samsung. With these technologies running on Samsung compatible smarthphones, consumers can make easy, fast and secure transactions wherever they are in Brazil.
Bradesco is one of the largest banks in Brazil and would be joining other Prepayment platform like Santander and Neon, Caixa Econômica Federal, including MasterCard and Visa to provide flexible payment opportunities for customers through personal credit cards. All consumers have to do is register in the Samsung Pay App and then have access to conduct any type of transaction on the platform.
Commenting on the partnership, Antonio Quintas, Vice President of the mobile devices area of Samsung in Brazil had this to say: “The partnership with Bradesco reinforces our constant search to increase possibilities within Samsung Pay. Our intention is that more and more consumers can enjoy the benefits and advantages available in the system.”
The director of Bradesco Tarjetas, Cesario Nakamura, also commenting on the partnership said, it further strengthens the bank’s position in the market of mobile payment solutions. He further said that: “Partnering with Samsung provides an innovative experience for consumers. This initiative is part of the strategy to offer our customers new technologies and creative and efficient solutions to meet the needs of our day-to-day life.”
