Samsung is one of the top dogs in the wearable industry. They had unveiled the Gear Sport and Gear Fit2 Pro during the IFA 2017. Now, the Gear Sport is available for purchase on Amazon in the US. The device is a fitness tracker and a smartwatch rolled into one. The device has two variants when it comes to color, Blue and Black. Specifications
The Gear Sport features a rotating bezel, that can be used to navigate through the UI and has two buttons on the right-hand side that can be used to operate the device. The device has a 1.2 inch Super AMOLED Display. The Gear Sport is powered by a 1 GHz, dual-core processor along with a 768 Mb RAM. The device also has an inbuilt storage of 4GB. The wearable’s sensors include Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Heart Rate Monitor, and a Barometer.
The Gear Sport’s Heart Rate Monitor can measure your heart rate during your workouts. The watch also has a 5ATM certification, which means the device is waterproof up to 50mts. This is one of the few watches that are swimproof, and it can track your SWOLF score. In association with Speedo and Under Armour, Samsung Gear Sport can track your workouts perfectly. The wearable also works with a few of the more popular fitness tracking apps like Map My Run, Endomundo and much more.

The Samsung Gear Sport is available over on Samsung, Amazon, and a few other retailers. The device is already available to customers for those who pre-ordered the device. Even though the device is available in two different colors, Samsung has made the bands interchangeable. Any 20mm watch band will work with the Gear Sport.
The Gear Sport is also compatible with any Android smartphone running Android 4.4 KitKat or later, as well as iPhones running iOS 9.0 or later. In order to be able to sync with your phone, you have to download the Samsung Gear app from either the Galaxy Apps Store, Play Stores or Apple’s App Store.
