New news on the firware update scene for the Samsung Gear S3. This update is for America and East Asia as of now, but, as always, will head towards to other markets in the coming days and weeks. This update is for bug fixes, it improves system reliability and disables automatic sync of alarm paired from smartphone to smartwatch. The latter of the three was something that many people were complaining about.
For example, there was an update for the smartwatch just last month. This update was for synchronising alarms between the smartphone and smartwatch and also for improved system reliability. That update was originally found in Germany and Israel.
The firmware version on the change log is R76OXXU2CRH2 / R760OXA2CRH2. The file size of the update for the Samsung Gear S3 is only 11.8MB.
