Samsung Gear S3 Frontier update rolling out: Vibration alert now compatible with third party apps

The Gear S3 Frontier is now receiving an update that would be very useful to a lot of users. A third party messaging app now supports vibration notification which makes the usability of apps like WhatsApp seamless. For now, this app which is only 7MB in size is rolling out in the US but it would penetrate other regions soon.
Samsung has given much attention to the Gear S3. Apart from rolling out this update, it took its time to fix the S Voice issue that came with a prior update. This update is coming at a time where all minds are in Berlin at the IFA conference where Samsung will release the Gear Sport which is believed to be superior to the Gear S3. With the timing of this update, it is quite certain that its support will continue even after the launch of the Samsung Gear Sport.gear-s3-frontier-update
