We have always loved the Samsung range of Tizen based smartwatches; stemming from when the time the site was called Tizen Experts. The Gear S3 Frontier / Classic and the Gear Sport are two devices that provide a great functional wearable experience for the end user, and we can say that from experience of using these devices as our daily drivers.
Now, US Online retailer Amazon have got all three devices at discounted rates. You can grab the Gear Frontier and Gear Classic for $279.99 (originally $349.99) and the Gear Sport for $229.99 (originally $299.99).
Samsung Gear S3
Gear S3 features a circular 1.3-inch 360×360 Super AMOLED display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass SR+. The device is powered by an Exynos 7270 dual-core processor coupled with 768 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. It is IP68 certified which means that it is resistant to dust and water. The battery can last for 3 to 4 days on normal usage. The Gear S3 include altimeter, barometer, gyroscope, Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, Near Field Communication (NFC), Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) and GPS / Glonass navigation. The Gear S3 comes in two models: Frontier and Classic.
Samsung Gear Sport
The Gear Sport is a very light-weight sporty yet stylish-looking smartwatch cum fitness tracker. It features a circular Super AMOLED 360 x 360 display screen. It is powered by a 1GHz Dual-core processor supported by 768MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM. The device houses a rechargeable 300mAh battery and supports LTE Cat 4 150Mb/s for network connectivity. The device is completely water resistant up to a depth of 50m. Samsung Gear Sport has Accelerometer, Gyro, Barometer, Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) and Ambient light sensors.
