The Gear S3 is slowly being released in various global market with pre-orders going live in Korea, UK, US, Canada, and Germany so far. Mainly we have seen the Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier versions go on-sale but the LTE variant of the Frontier has been missing. We have previously heard that the UK will NOT receive it’s own LTE variant so that is a bitter pill we have already swallowed.
Samsung have already announced that the Gear S3 Frontier would be available in the US from AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, but have omitted released dates or specific pricing details. AT&T has now revealed that they will open pre-orders for the Gear S3 Frontier LTE on the 04 November and the devices will ship on 18th November, the same date as Samsung will ship from their own online store.
The S3 Classic and Frontier both sport a 1.3″ scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass SR+ screen, rated IP68 rated for water resistance. Powering the device you have an Exynos 7270 1Ghz dual-core CPU using Samsung’s 14nm FinFET fabrication process. The specs continue with 786MB RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, GPS, and a 380mAh battery that is rated for upto 4 days use.
