After launching the Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic back in January in India, Samsung have now launched the premium Rose Gold and Platinum variants of the Gear S2 classic in the country and along with the white color variant of the Gear S2. The Rose Gold and Platinum variants come with a massive price tag of ₹34,999 while the white Gear S2 has been priced at ₹24,300.
Apart from the differential pricing between the premium and regular variants of the Gear S2 (classic), all these Tizen Based smartwatches have similar technical specifications which can be found later down the post. However, the Rose Gold and Platinum editions are cosmetically superior to the regular variants, with the Rose Gold edition sporting an 18K Rose Gold plating and incorporates a 20mm ivory genuine leather strap. The Platinum edition on the other hand has a Titanium plated housing along with a similar 20mm genuine leather strap but in black. The smartwatches are currently compatible with Android smartphones running KitKat of higher and will soon be getting an update making it compatible iOS devices as well.
