Samsung Galaxy Watch 2 and Galaxy Tab S5 to release in Q3 2019

As with all upcoming tech, especially Samsung’s wearable lineup, we bring you the news we thing you will appreciate. This latest bit of Information is Samsung’s exclusive product line for 2019. According to a CashKaro, the 2019 wearables lineup will include the Galaxy Watch 2 and an updated Galaxy Fit 2 pro. On the mobile computing side, we will also see a Galaxy Tab S5 and Galaxy Tab Active 3.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 2 will be offered in 40mm and 44mm variants. There is no news if this new product will replace the Galaxy Watch or will be offered alongside it. We have heard rumours of the next wearable to be the Galaxy Watch Active 2, but it seems too soon to us at IoT Gadgets. The Galaxy Watch Active has only recently been released in India after all.

When will the Galaxy Watch 2 release?

As you can see from the Samsung 2019 Wearable Line-Up above, the anticipated release date for the Premium Galaxy Watch 2 will be Q3 2019. This falls in-line nicely with the Samsung unpacked event on August 7, 2019 that was recently announced.

We have had rumours of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 featuring a ECG and Fall Detection. Could these features come to the Galaxy Watch 2? Well, Samsung does definitely need a formidable feature set to battle against Apple’s Watch. Keeping up with the “Jones” with ECG and Afib notifications will be detail worth having. This is beyond a gimmick and something people do want.

Updated Galaxy Fit 2 Pro 2019

The original Gear Fit 2 Pro was launched in 2017. This new version seems to be a replacement for it, but is not a replacement for the Galaxy Fit. We would assume that it will have more Smartwatch features than the Galaxy Fit, but still have the sleek and light Fitness Tracker looks of the Galaxy Fit.

Samsung Tab S5 Specs

The latest release of the Samsung S-series tablet range. Rumoured to have a snapdragon 855 chipset and 512GB Internal storage and 6GB RAM. Nothing else is known at this stage.
