For all those excited and Interested in Samsung’s first Developer Conference the Registrations will open today, Monday August 26th at 6am PST/9am ET at www.samsungdevcon.com.
Technical sessions and presentations from industry thought-leaders will cover key topics, including:
- First look at the new Samsung SDKs and tools inc S Pen and new features
- A Deep dive into the Samsung Service Platform and Services APIs which include ChatON, Group Play, Samsung AdHub, Context Aware and much more
- Best practices for developing Smart TV application in multi-screen environments spanning, mobile, tablet and TV
- Cross-platform development case including HTML5, Web app and more
- Special sessions for B2B developers which cover the Samsung mobile partnership program, building certified applications, KNOX, Enterprise SDK, and more
- Development opportunities in emerging categories such as gaming and much more
There has been much talk on the web about this being a Launch Event for Tizen and I very much doubt that. Tizen will be a key theme as part of this technical conference and the timing is inline with expected Launch events but I doubt this will be it. Tizen will be featured front and centre at the Developer Conference as Samsung takes these important steps in helping create a new eco system.
As a reminder, the conference will be held on October 27th through 29th in San Francisco and will include in depth sessions about Samsung tools and SDKs spanning mobile, Smart TV, connected devices and more.
