Nokia has just confirmed that its MeeGo smartphone, the Nokia N9 will be available in Singapore later this month for a suggested retail price of at S$799 and S$899 for the 16GB and 64GB respectively in the available black, cyan and magenta colours. It is thought that all three operators in Singapore, Singtel, Starhub and M1, will be carrying the phone on suitable data plans. It is believed that the rest of Asia will get the phone but specific release dates have not yet been announced.
The smartphone will be available this month from all telcos, with a retail price of S$799 (16GB) and $899 (64GB) without operator contracts. Nokia has confirmed that the N9 will be made available to the rest of Asia, but declined to comment on when this would happen and how much it will cost.
