Even though we’re deep into the Monster Hunter series at this point, Capcom is still thinking up more monster creations, ready for slaying.
In Monster Hunter Wilds, there are a whole bunch of new behemoths to take on, in conjunction with some fan favorites.
Here, we’ll be focusing on the fresh faces and classic creatures, providing you a full list of monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds, so you know what kind of beasts you’ll be hacking and slashing.
Monster Hunter Wilds monster list
Since Monster Hunter Wilds hasn’t released yet, we haven’t got the full lowdown as to the exact number of new monsters that you’ll be coming up against.
However, since there have been various trailers and two Betas, we’ve at least got a concrete look at some of the new beasts that will be lying in wait.

As you can see, there is quite a wide pool of monsters on offer in Wilds that should offer up some pretty interesting encounters.
Obviously, there are a bunch of Wyvern types in the game, as you’d expect, along with the classic Monster Hunter poster creature — the Rathalos — making its way back once again.
At this time, we are unsure as to some monster types for the new additions but when we get our hands on the full release, we’ll be sure to add in where these creatures fit into the Monster Hunter formula.
