FOSDEM is a huge Open Source developer event that takes place every year in Brussels and has 1000s of attendees from all over the world. The event is an primarily for software developers and encourages them to share ideas and collaborate. This year you have 543 speakers, 570 events, and 57 tracks to choose from.
This year I will be attending the event and am looking forward to meeting colleagues and friends from Mer, MeeGo, Jolla and Tizen. The difference this year, for myself, is that I will be looking at IoT, wearables, smart home, Tizen, and Blockchain ideas. These are all exciting technologies that warrant further exploration and hopefully something we can collaborate on.
