How to get Silk in Black Myth: Wukong

While Black Myth: Wukong is mostly about battling some incredibly designed bosses, there are some more RPG-like elements that you’ll need to pay attention to.

One in particular is the armor system which is pretty important since the better the armor, the higher certain stats are.

To craft Rare and Epic armor as you progress, you’ll need Silk which many are struggling with locating.

Here, we’ll reveal how to get Silk in Black Myth: Wukong so you can get to making some better armor as early as possible.

Where to find Silk in Black Myth: Wukong

As you’re making your way through Chapter 1, and even Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll struggle to find Silk.

That’s because the main way of securing some is by beating certain bosses and praying you’re lucky enough for it to drop.

Yoaguai Chiefs and Kings seem to be the ones you’ll need to target early on in the game as these tend to drop it the most frequently.

In Chapter 2, focus on rats as again, these are the enemies that appear to have the highest drop rate percentage.

Chests are also a way of netting yourself some Silk but, you’ll have to pray the gods are on your side since it is a random reward.

Alternatively, if you’ve made it to the Secret: Ancient Guanyin Temple area, you’ll be able to purchase a couple from the Grand Chamber Shrine Store, which removes any chance.

As you’re making your way through the latter stages of Chapter 2 and into 3, Silk becomes increasingly common, and you’ll likely have a bunch of it in your inventory, so there’s no real need to seek it out at this point.

Enjoy crafting some fancy new armor with the above tips on how to get Silk!
