How to add friends in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Pokemon TCG Pocket takes card collecting into the modern era, allowing you to open packs digitally and look to complete sets without having to physically slot each one into a binder.

Collecting is best when done with friends though, even in digital form, and thankfully with Pokemon TCG Pocket, you are able to do so.

Here, we’ll go through the steps on how to add friends in the game so you can share your biggest pulls with your fellow Trainers.

If you want to get your friends list stacked right out of the gate, you’re going to need to know the adding process.

The adding friends option is a little hidden and you’ll need to go through a couple of menus to get to the correct area.

First, open up the Social Hub which is the icon what looks like three people in a circle at the bottom middle of your screen.

After locating and getting into the Hub, look to the bottom left where there should be a Friends option.

Open this and now hit the icon in the top right corner which is a person with a plus sign on them.

This will bring up your Friend ID as well as the ability to search for another player.

Now you can enter the Friend ID of the person you want to add to your friends list!

Ensure that you input this without any of the hyphens that are usually included with the ID otherwise it won’t be recognized.

There is a 99 person limit on the Pokemon TCG Pocket friends list so keep that in mind before sharing your Friend ID to the masses.

Regardless of this though, they will need to accept your request and vice versa so don’t worry too much as you’re able to reject those people you don’t want on your list.
