Today, Samsung have unveiled the Gear Fit2Pro, their latest wearable fitness tech. This is a light and responsive fitness tracker that feels comfortable to use. Its responsive with a slim profile. We have seen most of this Information online care of a little slip by Samsung. It seems this wearable device is still running on Tizen 2.3.2, unlike the Gear Sport which is the first wearable device to run the Tizen 3.0 platform. The Gear Fit2 Pro has a dual core processor under the hood with WiFi 802.11 b / g / n 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 4.2, Curved Super AMOLED 1.5-inch screen with a 216 x 432 resolution and 16Million colours. On the sensor front you have Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyroscope and Hear Rate Monitor (HRM).
We also have Integrated GPS, which gives you the opportunity to leave your smartphone at home when you are on your Smart-run 😉 Dimensions wise this is 51.3 x 25.0 mm and only a weight of 34g, you can hardly tell you are wearing it. Battery is a 200mAh and is good for 3-4 days use. Available in Black and Red.
For water resistance it is rated at 5 ATM, which is 150 feet and beats the IP68 rating of last years Gear Fit2. You can map your fitness with Speedo, UA Record, MapMyRun, My FitnessPal and Endomondo apps.
