The developers at HGames Artworks seem to have a love with Ninjas in particular as they have released a total of 4 Ninja themed games on the Tizen store till date. Some of these are actually good and the Ninja Assassin Combat Warrior is what caught our eyes the most from the lot thanks to it open world type of gameplay. The game seems to be highly influenced by Ubisoft’s iconic Assassin’s Creed series and that’s definitely a good thing given how incredible the assassin’s creed series has been.
The limitation of most Tizen games is that the smartphones they run on do not have the most powerful hardware according to industry standards and hence developers need to optimize the games heavily to at least get a decent performance out of these devices. That’s reflected even in this game as well since open world games are a lot demanding on the hardware to render all the 3D objects in real time. The gameplay is hence not very smooth with at most 20fps but you get to have a lot of adventures such as climbing high buildings and walking on the edge and doing free-falls to give you an adrenaline rush just like in Assassin’s Creed.
In the game, your Ninja has to collect stars located on high buildings and fight against enemies single-handedly. This will most certainly keep you engaged for long periods when you have a lot of time to kill. But one thing we wish the developers had done better is in the virtual controls. Virtual analogue sticks would have been a much better choice than virtual buttons used in the game to move the character.
Overall, this is a really decent game with some good action and adventure for long hours of gaming. The game is of 63.6 MB can be for all Tizen smartphones out there ie Samsung Z1, Z2, Z3 and Z4.
