The Gear Fit2 Pro wearable was originally announced at IFA 2017. Which does mean it can be considered to be “getting on a bit”, but it still remains quite a popular device. This fitness tracker has a good set of features, battery life, and a killer display.
Usually, this fitness smartwatch, or activity tracker if you prefer, is priced at $199.99. At the start of this month, went on sale at an incredibly low price of $80. Needless to say that the sale did not last long at all.
Now, we bring you another deal. This time you pay $199.99 for the Gear Fit2 Pro wearable, but you then get a massive $125 back in the form of a Samsung.com Reward eCertificate.
One of the main this I absolutely love about this device is the Super AMOLED Screen – A vibrant 1.5-Inch 432 x 216 resolution display. Other features include Spotify support with the ability to download and synch playlists locally, avoiding the need to use data on the go, or the need to have your smartphone with you whilst you are on your run.
Gear Fit2 Pro specifications
There is 4GB storage and 512MB RAM. On the connectivity front, you have Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 802.11 b / g / n 2.4GHz. The fitness tracker does not have NFC payment facilities, but at the $80 that is easy to forgive. You also get Integrated GPS and water resistance of up to 50m (ISO 22810). Sensors you have Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyroscope, and Heart rate. The battery is 200mAh which can last you up to 3 days use.
