The Controls

At the start, you have to complete a tutorial in order to progress (you may skip the tutorial if you so desire). The controls are simple. In the left bottom corner, there are four arrows with which you can move forwards, backward, left and right. Then, in the right bottom corner, there are another four arrows, these four make you turn clockwise or anticlockwise, it also changes the camera point of view if you press the up and down button arrows. Also at the top right corner, you have a “settings” icon which allows you to access options, main menu and restart. Beneath the settings icon is the jump button, which you obviously use to jump, and an up arrow button to climb walls.

Your Adversaries

Numerous adversaries with different abilities will come after you. Mortal warriors and mummies will try to crush you with their strong tiger armor and hammer. These enemies are armed with spears, axes, and short swords. Do not allow any of these weapons touch you.

On your part, you are armed with lethal sword blade (katana), shurikens and bow. Each weapon has special situations where they are more effective.  Arrows are rare and they are available in blue and red colours. The red variety is stronger and more effective. Each pack of arrows contains three and five arrows for the red and blue variety respectively. Whenever there is a need to use the arrow and you got both versions (red and blue arrows), the red arrow is used first. Arrows get exhausted thus you need to feel a sense of archery before you strike at the right moment. Develop this skill as a player and shoot a magic arrow through more than 2 enemies at once. Shurikens are a mighty arm, they can bounce off walls to hit multiple targets.

Your Skills

You will have to chop, kick, punch, slash through your enemies like a hitman or just climb away to disappear. Your fighter is well trained in martial arts, fighting, and climbing skills. You also have health for grabs but at the start of the game, you got 100. You need to be careful when climbing walls because if you fall, you will lose health. When you get over the wall, you may need to fight other ninjas and kill them. However, it will be easier if you just shoot them with the bow and arrow before climbing the wall. In fact, it is almost impossible to win a battle with your adversaries who are waiting for you to climb over a wall. You can also pick stealth approach and use your infiltration, sneak, or spy skills. Swim, climb and discover secret entrances. You are a ninja warrior of shadows thus you have to discover underground tunnels, which will sometimes require you to swim, climb on a bridge or climb high cliffs. The ultimate skill is to try to be invisible as a real ninja warrior of shadow.
