A lucky gambler hit the jackpot in Las Vegas, scoring a huge win at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall.
According to a post on X from the casino on Thursday (Feb. 27), the player took a chance on the Jackpot Carnival Extreme slot machine, and it definitely paid off.

The Sacramento Bee reported that the player placed a $2 bet, hit spin, and watched as the symbols lined up on the screen. Then, a jackpot message popped up that they had just won $15,039.
The casino wrote: “Step right up and collect your winnings!”

Lucky players win big at Las Vegas casino joints
Sam’s Town, just a few miles from the Las Vegas Strip, has had a few lucky winners in recent months. In February, a bettor named Mayra walked away with a $12,757 jackpot after placing just a $3.75 bet.

Another guest picked up a massive $14,087 from just a $1 bet.
A customer named Renee also hit an $11,965.07 progressive jackpot on Knock Knock Guardians, betting just $2.50, while Natasha struck it big with a $24,891 Grand Progressive Jackpot on Railroad Riches using the same bet amount.
Across town at Suncoast Hotel & Casino, another lucky gambler had what can only be described as unbelievable luck. With just an 88-cent bet on the Fu Dai Lian Lian Panda slot game, they ended up walking away with over $10,000.
However, one lucky anonymous gambler won a life-changing jackpot in November at The Venetian Resort’s The Palazzo. According to a Facebook post from the hotel, the gambler is $1,027,979.30 richer.
The player took a seat at a Dragon Link machine in the high-limit gaming lounge, placed a $50 bet, and hit spin.
The visitor watched as the symbols spun across the screen. Then, a jackpot message popped up, reading, “Big Race meets big win!” the hotel shared in the post.
In 2003, a 25-year-old software engineer made Las Vegas history with his jackpot win. Playing the Megabucks slot machine at the Excalibur Casino, he put in $100 and ended up walking away with $39.7 million—the biggest jackpot the city had ever seen.
Just a week ago (Feb. 24), ReadWrite reported an anonymous player winning over $12 million with a $5 bet in Mesquite, Nevada.
