If you’re a Galaxy Watch / Galaxy Watch Active user and have been jealous of how Bixby performs on the Galaxy Watch Active 2, you don’t have to be anymore. Thanks to a new software update, the earlier-generation watches will be receiving some of the functionality that we see on Samsung’s latest smartwatch.
After you have installed the update, you’ll be able to start exercise routine using Bixby Voice. As well as this, you’ll also be able to find out time differences between two places and be able to control devices within the SmartThings ecosystem. Bixby will also learn your routine and will become more helpful to you when it learns enough about your routine. The voice assistant has also has new language capabilities. These languages include English (UK), French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Not only will Bixby be improved. The Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch Active will receive 24 new sub-dials and complications thanks to the update. This, added to the 17 that were already on the devices, leaves us with a total of 51 sub-dials and complications. This’ll help users access the information that they want leaving out all the extras they won’t want / need.
The improved user experience brings you the My Style feature! This feature is something I’ve enjoyed as it matches your smartwatch watchface with your outfit – making sure you look your best in every way.
