This is the successor to the Gear Sport, which was released in October 2017. We were initially wary about Samsung’s decision to release a watch that did not support its now Iconic rotating bezel, but it seems all is well. The Galaxy Watch Active is much smaller than the Galaxy Watch, mainly due to a smaller 1.1-inch screen and the lack of rotating bezel.
