We’ve had quite a few happy Galaxy Watch users that have recently received a software update Introducing lots of bells and whistles. Well, today it’s the turn of the original Galaxy Watch Active 1 smartwatch users to get some update love. The software / firmware version is R500XXU1DSL1 with Tizen software 4.0.0.7 and One UI Watch version 1.5.
The biggest feature that they can now make use of, that was released as part of the One UI 1.5 update, is simulation of a touch bezel. Now, Origianl GWA users can navigate the user Interface and menus just like GWA2 users do. Another feature that seems to be a big hit with our readers is the new watch face ‘my style’. This recommends variety of watch faces that suits outfit by taking picture of clothing. Below is the full change log as part of this update:

Manually update your Galaxy Watch Active 1
You should get a notification telling you the update is available in your region. Just in case you don’t, you can manually check by: Launch Galaxy wearables app -> scroll down to Watch Software Update -> Select Download and Install.
