Fortnite leak – Epic Games to team up with BMW for in-game collaboration soon

We had the Cybertruck come to the Battle Royale just recently and if you were wondering if that was going to open the door to other car manufacturers shilling their products in Fortnite, it appears you would have been correct – at least according to the latest leak from prominent Fortnite know-it-all Shiina, who is very rarely, if ever wrong about these things.

In a simple post on X, the leaker has proclaimed, alongside this above image, “New Fortnite x BMW collaboration” – A person of few words but it was enough to cause a stir as you may imagine.

(If true, and it more than likely will be) we don’t know what form the collab will take – obviously Rocket Racing is a prime vehicle (no pun intended) for adding new cars to, but the Cybertruck and its rather iconic design found its way onto the island as part of the big fight too, so we expect similar here.

The barrage of collaborations seems to be intensifying in frequency as Epic Games continues its push to make Fortnite its very own metaverse, of which the Battle Royale is merely a part of. We have already seen the likes of Nicki Minaj in Robox with her own shop, and it may not be long before we see the collabs begin to push more boundaries.

The news of the BMW coming to Fortnite was met with a predictable call for other types of cars to be added, we saw Subaru and the Honda Accord requested as fans started to get giddy.

Fortnite Season 4 loot

While they were at it, Shiina also posted an image of what is believed to be all of the loot from Season 4 – all handily photoshopped for your convenience. We already know how much Marvel will feature in the latest edition so the only things left to surprise us may well be commercial collaborations such as the deal with the German motorcar legend.
