The Gear Fit2 Pro is Samsung’s followup to the Gear Fit2, and, like all wearables, must be subject to the “apps” question: “are there apps available for the device?” The answer to this question is a resounding “yes,” as the Gear Fit2 Pro has fitness training apps available for it.
Which apps are Gear Fit2 Pro-compatible? Take a look at the apps list below.
- Health Apps
- Run with Map My Run
- Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal
- UA Record
- Workout Trainer for Gear
- Endomondo – Running & Walking
- StayFit+
- PEAR Personal Coach for Gear Fit2
- GOLF NAVI GLOBAL
- Lifesum – Join the health movement
- SlamdunQ Golf
- TennisTraq
- ShuttleTraq
- SlamdunQ Cricket
You may know and use some of the fitness training apps above; you may have even used some of the above apps along with previous wearables and smartphones. Endomondo, Map My Run, MyFitnessPal, and UA Record have all been released for Samsung’s Gear S2 and Gear S3 earlier this year, and Map My Run was available for the Gear S back in 2014. StayFit+, compatible with the Samsung Z1 and Samsung Z3, is now available for the Gear Fit2 Pro. SlamdunQ Gold is available for the Gear Fit2 and Gear S2, and SlamdunQ Cricket has been released for the Gear S2.
Golf NAVI was an app released for the Gear S and the Galaxy Gear 2, so its presence on the Gear Fit2 Pro isn’t all that surprising.
Are you impressed with the above Gear Fit2 Pro app list? Wish there were more apps available? Find it sufficient for now? Have any favorite fitness apps you use? Planning to pick up the Gear Fit2 Pro? Let us know.
