While you might instantly go to the new cosmetics that are on offer during the Halloween period, there are fresh gameplay elements that you can explore on the island.
One of these is the introduction of Billy the Puppet and you’ll need to find and beat in order to complete the Nitemares One quest.
Here, we’ll take you through Billy’s location in Fortnite as well as some tips on defeating him so you can check off this portion of the quest!
Where to find Billy in Fortnite Fortnitemares event
If you want to take on Billy in Fortnite, you’ll need to head directly to the new POI introduced in the Fortnitemares event – Freaky Fields.
Once you’re there, you need to look for the big, white sided house which can be found in the southwest corner of the area.
After entering the house look for an open room to the right where there should be a TV with Billy’s face on it.
Now hold the Investigate button and he will pop out from the TV and begin attacking you.
How to beat Billy in Fortnite Fortnitemares event
Upon spawning, Billy will look to attack you straight away so you’ll need to be prepared to back peddle to give yourself some room to do damage.
He wields a pickaxe so it’s best to get as far away from him as possible. We recommend trying to get outside of the house so you’re able to avoid as much health loss as possible.
From here, just use whatever guns you have available to you. As he’ll be charging toward you, shotguns work well as you can inflict some good damage and get him down fast.
After defeating him, he’ll drop a few different items including the Boom Billy, a fun weapon that you can utilize to kill enemies from afar.
