One of the first tasks any self respecting Developer or tech guy (or girl) needs to do with a new device is to enable developer mode. Enabling this feature lets you copy files directly to your Smartphone and also Install Tizen TPK application files (not Android ones).
One of the problems you will face is that it doesn’t show in the settings menu, as the option doesn’t exist there. Well don’t worry, our friend Daniel Juyung Seo has created a hands on video at the bottom of this post to show you how it’s done. It might look complicated, but its not!
Instructions to enable USB Debugging mode

- Press Home button to return to home screen
- Press and hold Home button to bring up recent apps
- Swipe across on the Settings App to close it
- Press Home button to return to the home screen
