The Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro wearable fitness tracker is Samsung’s latest fitness technology which was launched at the IFA 2017 some weeks ago. This device has all the expected features of a fitness tracker and also includes water resistance of 5-ATM (atmospheres) which allows this device to be submerged in a 150 feet deep water. Now, Amazon it is offering the Gear Fit2 Pro at a giveaway price (sort of). Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro is a Tizen-powered wearable which is designed for adventure and lets you track all your fitness details during workouts, swimming, and other activities.
Usually, the Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro sells for £229. However, Amazon currently has a red strap and black strap Gear Fit2 Pro available for sale at subsidized rates. The red strap sells for £204.30 which is 11% off its original price while the black strap sells for £192.33 which is about 16% off its original price.
As a reminder, the Gear Fit2 Pro features a 1.5-inch 216 x 432 Curved Super AMOLED display (with 16Million colours). It weighs only 34g with a dimension of 216 x 432. It is powered by a 200mAh battery which gives a 3-4 days talk time and a 5 days standby time. It comes with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage which is expandable up to 2GB and runs Tizen 2.3 OS. This wearable has a 5-ATM water resistant body which gives it the ability to track water-related activities such as swimming (both surface and underwater) up to 150 feet. The product comes with GPS and WiFi 802.11 b / g / n 2.4GHz, heart rate sensor, gyroscope, barometer, and accelerometer. The S-Health app is instantly triggered to track swimming, the Speedo app can do this as well but you will miss out on the real-time heart rate monitoring. You can also constantly monitor your heart rate by activating “Auto HR” on your device.
