Right from the off in Brighter Shores, you are tasked with running around from place to place to do menial chores as you learn the mechanics of the game.
One of the earlier puzzles that is catching people out arrives shortly after the Goblin mob attacks the starter town while you are in the training area. Corporal Binns instructs you to rally three troops and get them to join the fight at the gates – two will go easily, although you will have to persuade one, but Delana is a bit more of a problem.
Before she will go the archer tells you she has misplaced her bow and can’t fight without it. Offer to help her find it – which basically means you finding it, because, well, she isn’t going to move from the same spot.
She will spin some story that one of the other recruits you need to find has probably taken it as they don’t get on, so find him and ask him if he knows where it is. He will get all defensive and ultimately tell you he has nothing to do with it. Send him off to the gates. Now you need to find the bow. Let’s have a look in the Barracks.
How to find Delana’s Bow
Well, it must be in these barracks somewhere you would think? The Barracks consist of a number of beds and chests. Opening the chests will allow you to find (steal) coins – the weird thing about the Early Access is the chests respawn very quickly and can be searched again for more cash and loot.
While some of the beds can be laid on, one in particular should stand out as it is the only one with a different colored cover – the light blue one. If you look closely you should see a suspicious bow shape behind the headboard. Yep, this is Delana’s bed and she has lost her bow next to her own bed. This Goblin fight should go well with this caliber of recruit.
Anyway, take the bow, run it back to Delana, and use the item on her and she will scoot off to her new tour of duty,
