Since Brighter Shores is a game made by the original co-creator of Runescape, there are many comparisons between the two experiences.
From grinding skill levels to the quirky quests, the crossover is clear but there are also some big deviations from the formula.
One system that does differ to Runescape is the Bank and here, we’ll talk through how it works so you can offload those items in your inventory.
How does the Brighter Shores Bank work?
Contrary to the Runescape banking system, there is no one bank for your character and instead, it’s a more complex process, mostly requiring you to travel to store your different items.
The way banking works in Brighter Shores is that there are different banks in different areas, relating to different Professions.
In Hopefort there is the Potions Regents Bank and Potions Bank in the Apothecary where you’re able to store potion ingredients and finished potions, the Ingredients Bank in The Delectable Dab Kitchen where cooking ingredients are kept, and the Quartermaster Bank for weapons/armor needed for the Guard Profession.
This may seem a little clunky in comparison to that aforementioned Runescape banking system but it’s done this way so that you’re able to quickly access the items required for the Professions in the areas, making it a little more streamlined.
Now, there is another mass storage system that you can utilize but it takes a lot of time investment to unlock.
You’ll need to complete the Spider’s Nest quest to gain access to a Storage Rift Spell which can be used on the Strange Stones scattered around the map, changing them into Storage Rifts that when opened, automatically send your items to the relevant Banks we spoke about earlier.
This quest can only be obtained in Hopeforest Cliffside Path and requires Carpenter level 32, so you best get sawing some logs!
After completing it though, you can use the spell on all of the Strange Stones you come across, allowing some huge time saves, removing the need for you to travel to each individual bank location.
