After some time, Call of Duty is finally returning to its roots with the ever-popular Zombies mode, bringing back most of the fan-favorite features.
This includes the classic Power-Ups, Perks, and even some call-backs to some wonder weapons of the past.
What’s also returning though are GobbleGums, one of the more controversial mechanics, first introduced in Black Ops 3.
Here, we’ll be taking you through how the Black Ops 6 Zombies GobbleGums work as well as what kinds you can utilize in the game.
How do GobbleGums work in Black Ops 6 Zombies?
GobbleGums are single use items that can be consumed in a game of Black Ops 6 Zombies once acquired from the Mr Peeks GobbleGum Machine.
It won’t cost you any Essence to get these GobbleGums but once you secure your random selection, you won’t be able to get another until either the timer resets on the Machine, or another round begins.
You’re able to hold three GobbleGums in your in-game inventory, and you’re able to use all three back to back, or simply save them until the time is right.
As for which GobbleGums will be available from the Machine, this will depend on those that you have earned through playing the game, stocking up your inventory.
Like in previous Black Ops games, GobbleGums have a rarity attached to them. These rarities are; Rare, Epic, Legendary, Ultra, and Whimsical, potentially increasing in usefulness the more rare the Gum is.
Sadly, you’re not able to share GobbleGums with team mates so you’ll all have to spin the Machine in order to secure the ones you need.
All known Black Ops 6 Zombies GobbleGums so far
Like in older Black Ops titles, there are a bunch of different GobbleGums in Black Ops 6 Zombies that each give you a unique advantage.
Here are all of the ones that have been announced so far along with what they do:
- Shields Up – Your armor is twice as a strong for three minutes
- Kill Joy – Spawns an Insta-Kill Power-up
- Free Fire – Firing weapons consumes no ammo for the next 60 seconds
- Soda Fountain – The next Perk purchased gives an additional random Perk
- Phoenix Up – Revive all teammates and they keep their perks
- Wall-to-Wall Clearance – Wall Buys cost 10 Essence
- Perkaholic – Gives the player all Perk-a-Colas in the map
- Wonderbar! – The next gun from the Mystery Box will be a Wonder Weapon
- Newtonian Negation – Zombies killed fall straight up for three minutes
