A new TV Ad for the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch has just been released and it’s a bit different from what we would call the norm. British explorer and survival expert Bear Grylls shows you how you can take on mother nature with the help of some wearable technology – You need the right information at the right time.
The Gear S3 is a rugged smartwatch that has some features ideal for this environment; such as an IP68 Dust and water resistance, barometer, altimeter, S Health and weather apps.
The Frontier sports a circular 1.3-inch Super AMOLED 360 x 360 resolution display, that benefits from the rotating bezel that allows you to interact with the device – you can navigate through menus, answer or reject calls, make selections, and more. Gorilla Glass SR+ is used on the display helping the rugged nature of this wearable tech. We have a dual-core processor at the heart of the device with 4GB storage for your MP3 music files, pictures and apps. Other specs not already mentioned include 768 MB of RAM and a 380 mAh battery that can last up to 4 days with moderate use.
