Since Blackberry released their BBM application for other platforms such as Android, it was obvious that they don’t want to keep it completely for their own platform and want to expand through the market using the software side of things.
Since they are expanding, why not try some new platforms and obviously Samsung is keen to see popular apps on their new OS, Tizen.
Rumors point at Blackberry showing some interest on the new wearable OS from Google, and the Tizen OS from Samsung which is interesting as if Samsung gets the deal to have this popular messaging hub for their new OS, it will be a great start for other developers to see the interest and start porting their apps to Tizen!
We’ve got an image of a Gear 2 Smartwatch allegedly running BBM on top of Tizen OS. No further detail is available but it surely is a great start of rumors.
Will it get to the smartphone section of the Tizen? Will we see it on the Samsung Z when it gets launched? What do you all think?
