Presenting PasswordMaker written in Python/QML for MeeGo Harmattan by Caco3. Why is it I just love simple but powerful apps.
Passwordmaker protects all your passwords with a master password. The idea is that you have one Master Password and then create a unique generated password using some text. Now the Master Password is only known to you and the text can be something to do with that site only known to you. Nothing is stored and therefore nothing to lose, nothing to get hacked and nothing to get into the wrong hands.
If you’re like most people, you have a few passwords that you use over and over again on many different websites. You know this isn’t secure, yet you do it anyway. Why? Because it’s difficult to remember a unique password for each and every web site that requires one. PasswordMaker solves all these issues. It creates unique, secure passwords that are very easy for you to retrieve but no one else. Nothing is stored anywhere, anytime, so theres nothing to be hacked, lost, or stolen. PasswordMaker has been around since about 2003 and so is a mature, stable and popular solution.
