Tizen is an OS that is built from the ground up to run on many platforms, including phones, televisions, cameras, appliances, cars, and more. On most of these devices you will be able to Install applications and it is Interesting see “How they are Installed”. The Samsung Open Source Group (Samsung OSG) have created an article, created by Mats Wichman, that takes a look at how Tizen makes sure that apps run on as many device types as possible through the Tizen Compliance program.
You will look at:
- How an App is Installed
- The App Store Model
- How Tizen reduces fragmentation
- What does it take to be a Tizen device
If all of this looks Interesting then head on over to the An Introduction to Tizen Compliance article.
