The Tizen Smartphone that is expected to launch in India this November has had a few of its details passed to Sammobile this morning. This budget Smartphone is aimed at developing markets and hopes to take on Android One, FireFox OS, Microsoft (Nokia) and potentially BlackBerry in the less crowded new budget Smartphone category, a potentially lucrative area that everyone wants to be king of.
Details
- Model Number SM-Z130H
- Tizen version 2.3
- Dual SIM slots
- FM radio
- 3.2-megapixel Rear Camera
- Twitter and Facebook apps Integrated at launch
The details above are pretty much what has already been rumoured with features like dual SIM and FM radio making it a viable player in that market. There is no confirmation of Processor / RAM / ROM / Screen resolution at the moment, but it is thought that it has a 4″ screen at this moment, if a shipping manifest can be relied on. The Smartphone will be running Tizen Lite, which has hardware requirements that start at just 256Mb of RAM, 512Mb ROM and support for HVGA and QVGA screens.
Samsung decided to cancel the launch of the Samsung Z (SM-Z910F) at the Tizen Developer Summit Russia 2014 in July this year. The official reason given was that the Tizen ecosystem was not strong enough to support the launch of a flagship Tizen device at this time.
