The Galaxy S8 Active is a smartphone that is built with military grade materials. It comes with a 5.8-inch Quad HD 18.5:9 aspect ratio screen just like the Galaxy S8. It is powered by Exynos 8895/Snapdragon 835 processor depending on the market and runs the Android 7.0 Operating System. It has a 4GB RAM, up to 256GB internal memory and a large 4,000mAh battery capacity. This flagship smartphone sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. Other features include Retina eye scanner, fingerprint scanner, rugged design, rapid wireless charging, IP68 rating, dust proof, waterproof, shockproof, 3G, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi.
The Galaxy S8 Active is equipped with the Activity Zone which gives you quick access to things like the stopwatch, barometer, compass and much more. DIRECTV NOW app, which can be used to watch various TV shows live for as little as $10 per month is also compatible with the smartphone.
